If your ship does not dock, you get 100% back
You get the full tour price back, every time, with no argument. It does not matter why the ship missed the port: weather, a mechanical problem, or the cruise line changing the itinerary at the last minute.
This is the part people worry about most when they book with a local operator instead of the cruise line, so we want it to be the first thing you read. We did not run the tour, so we have no reason to keep your money.
Write to us with the notice the cruise line gave you and we send the refund the same day we see it. PayPal usually puts the money back on the card within five business days.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before
Cancel more than 24 hours before your tour starts and you get the tour price back in full. No reason needed and no form to fill in. A message on WhatsApp is enough.
Twenty four hours is the point where we have already committed a guide and a vehicle to your group, so it is the line we can hold without passing the cost to someone else.
Less than 24 hours, or you do not show up
Inside 24 hours the tour price is not refundable, because the guide and the vehicle are already reserved for you and cannot be sold to anyone else that morning.
That said, we will always try to move you instead of keeping your money for nothing. If your ship is still in port we look for another departure time, or another tour that fits the hours you have left. Message us as early as you can and we will see what is possible.
If we cancel, you get everything back including the fee
When the cancellation is ours you get 100% back, and that includes the transfer fee we normally do not refund. Dangerous sea conditions, a vehicle breakdown, or a group too small to run safely are our problem, not yours.
We tell you as early as we know, by WhatsApp and by email, and we offer you another time or another tour before we process the refund. Most people take the alternative. If nothing fits, the money goes back.
If your ship arrives late, we shorten the tour
A late arrival does not cancel your tour and does not produce a refund. We adjust the route so you are back at the ship on time, which sometimes means dropping one stop.
We say this here, before you pay, because it is the situation that catches people by surprise. Your ship sets the clock and we work inside it. Every itinerary we run is built with margin for exactly this.
Getting you back to the ship on time
We plan every return for at least one hour before your ship's all aboard time, and we ask for your ship name so we are working from the real schedule and not from a printed guide.
Roatán is small and the ports are close to everything we visit, which is why this works. Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay are both under forty minutes from West Bay in normal traffic.
The transfer fee is not refundable
When you pay with PayPal, a 5.4% transfer fee is added at checkout and shown on its own line before you pay. That fee is not returned on a refund, because the payment processor keeps it whether the tour happens or not.
The one exception is when we are the ones who cancel. Then we return it too.
If you would rather not pay it at all, choose to pay the guide at the port. The fee only exists on PayPal payments and the tour price is the same either way.
How to cancel or ask for a refund
Send one message with your booking reference and we take it from there. The reference is the code on your confirmation screen and in your confirmation email.

The questions people ask before they pay
You get 100% of the tour price back. It applies to any reason the ship misses the port, including weather, mechanical problems and itinerary changes by the cruise line. Send us the notice from your cruise line and we process the refund the same day.
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour starts, with no reason needed. Inside 24 hours the tour price is not refundable, but we will try to move you to another departure or another tour while your ship is in port.
The tour still runs and we shorten the route so you are back on time, sometimes by dropping a stop. A late arrival is not a refund, and every itinerary is planned with margin for it.
It is the transfer fee the payment processor charges, shown on its own line at checkout instead of being hidden in the tour price. It is not refundable because the processor keeps it either way, unless we are the ones who cancel. Paying the guide at the port avoids it entirely.
We plan every return for at least one hour before your all aboard time and we ask for your ship name so we work from the real schedule. Both Roatán ports are under forty minutes from West Bay in normal traffic.
